Reading the posts here one might think, this is a piece of junk. However, I bought this unit for my wife to more than 100 seats in another site that the device is rated very high for the price (on average 4 out of 5).
This unit has a good screen size. The quality is comparable to all other units, including Panasonic and RCA I checked. Apex raises a lot of accessories. AC adapter / cigarette lighter adapter / headphone / audio cable / etc. And 'also NTSC / PAL switchableand the internal power switch 110/220.
The sound is through the external speaker and was properly awarded through headphones. My wife heard two movies in the car today, no problems with the car / road noise. I also tried my Lord of the Rings DVD and was very satisfied with the quality of sound.
My main concern is that the Board of battery is great, but this applies to almost any portable DVD player. Note: They only show the device in the picture … the battery is almost alwaysClip on the bottom. Regarding the "problem" with big screen fills the entire screen in some movie … I think this is a problem for any portable DVD player, not only for APEX.
Overall I am very satisfied with the quality for the price.
I have one of these four years have passed and my parents were two of them for five years. And all three years they have performed flawlessly. And believe me, all three of them you see a lot of use.
The price is really done much, since it is presented, making this wonderful opportunity. If you are looking for something on the low-cost movie online movie tick is out, then this is the device for you.
